In the age of the squiggly career identifying and amplifying your strengths has never been more important. In this breakfast event Sarah Ellis, co-author of The Squiggly Career will deliver an interactive workshop on how to discover your strengths and make sure they stand out and show up at work.

The workshop will be followed by a lively panel discussion which will delve into how to build strength and resilience both as individuals and teams. It will ask what strength looks like in an era in which Alpha leadership and the traditional framework of what ‘strength’ means are making way for a more vulnerable and empathetic approach. An approach that is so vital for the creative industries.

The Squiggly Career is a practical and relevant book that focuses on the five skills you need to succeed in work today. Written by two Marketers Helen Tupper and Sarah Ellis they explore how you can ditch the ladder, discover opportunity and design a career that works for you.

Arrive at 8.30am for a 9am start.

Panellists:

  • Jo Hagger, Global Marketing Capabilities Director, Unilever
  • Matthew Cook, Brand and People Lead, Gravity Road
  • Ali Alvarez, Head of Creative, JustSo
