Influencing Responsibly

An ASA/CAP influencer training event

Legal & Public Affairs Director, Richard Lindsay, is asking for examples of influencer content that you find confusing/difficult from a labeling perspective to be discussed at this one-off ASA/CAP influencer training event which will give you the chance to learn about the rules directly from the people who write them and enforce the law.

IPA requests examples of confusing influencer content

The increasing use of influencer content for marketing purposes has led to regulatory concerns over labeling. The relationship between the brand and the influencer must be clear to consumers.

The ASA/CAP are running the training event Influencing Responsibly to help clarify influencer labeling on 1 October. If you or your agency colleagues have examples of influencer content that you find confusing/difficult from a labeling perspective, please submit them using the form below.

Richard will forward them to the ASA/CAP – on an anonymised basis – in the hope that they will be considered for discussion at the event.
