I’ve always been a big advocate of mentoring – it’s something that I believe has a mutual benefit for the mentor and mentee alike. As someone who has been on both sides of this process, it’s fantastic to be able to share my experience and to be challenged and hear different perspectives.
At the7stars, we have a voluntary internal mentoring scheme called Lodestar which has been up and running since 2017. The pairing system is very simple; we run a short survey asking those who want to participate a few questions and then aim to pair colleagues from across different teams within agency as well as from our sister agency, Bountiful Cow.
