IPA Production Roadshow - Manchester

The IPA production roadshow comes to Manchester

Calling all production and content specialists. Eliot Liss, Head of Production at the IPA, will be in Manchester on Wednesday 21 May. Come along to meet him, find out how he can help you, and get together with your industry peers.

This informal and free event will be part presentation and part discussion where Eliot will be focusing on two things: first, the advice and support that he and the IPA can offer members on production matters; and second, the issues and topics that are most relevant today, including:

  • The explosion of digital and other content and the impacts on 3rd party suppliers vs in-house models and traditional ways of working with actors, agents and Equity.
  • Traditional fixed-bid and assignment of right models in commissioning moving-image productions (PIBS) and their fit with Generative AI.
  • The effect of high-resolution camera and post-production technology on static and other assets derived from moving-image productions commissioned through PIBS.
  • The commercial impact of the move to high-volume, low-cost productions (including in-housing and co-created content) hitting agency margins.

This session is open to anyone working for an IPA member agency. It will be most appropriate for those involved in production or content, but also of interest for Heads of Business Affairs, Creatives and Commercial/Financial Officers.

We will also be visiting the following cities around the UK:
