Marketing and Brand Lead, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

Georgie brings together in-house and cross-agency teams to deliver insightful campaigns for well-loved not-for-profit brands. Her experience spans her current role as Marketing and Brand Lead at Battersea, as well as previous positions at Macmillan Cancer Support, Art Fund, and the youth-focused public body National Citizen Service (NCS).

Georgie spent the formative years of her career agency-side, having joined JWT’s grad scheme in 2010. There, she gained a grounding in the foundations of brand building and creative effectiveness, working on pioneering campaigns for a diverse range of clients. These included HSBC's first advertiser-funded programming with BBC Worldwide and The British Army’s ‘TA Live’, which saw ads broadcast directly from Afghanistan.

In 2014, Georgie joined independent creative agency 101, where she worked closely with the agency’s founding partners and a tight-knit team of Planning and Creative colleagues. Highlights included supporting a Gold IPA Effectiveness Award win for Art Fund’s National Art Pass, introducing ‘The Home of Homes’ as Dunelm’s enduring brand line, and sending comedian Chris Ramsay on a madcap mission to rack up as many Avios as possible in 72 hours, in partnership with Channel 4.

Georgie champions creativity in pursuit of effectiveness, realised through truly collaborative relationships between clients and agencies.
