Account Manager - Media Planning

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be directly accountable for leading and overseeing the development and execution of strategic media plans for our clients who operate in a variety of sectors.

This role requires you to have a deep understanding of the media landscape, excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and to collaborate with other internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of media campaigns that drive business results for our clients.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

1. Client Servicing:

• Day to day handling of client accounts - relationship building
• Responsible for regular trend identification, culture & competitive analysis for client
• Ensures communication of creative needs and coordinates with creative teams on timely delivery of assets for timely campaign launch
• Project manages all client proposals, recommendations and points of view

2. Media Planning and Strategy:

• Responsible for the delivery of accurate, impactful inputs that power the client’s plan and help grow their business
• A solid understanding of how different media channels fit into a plan and can confidently explain their role to others across all media channels
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the media landscape.
• Assist in the development of comprehensive media plans that integrate various channels including traditional, digital, social, and emerging media
• Understanding of typical situational analysis tools and techniques e.g. SWOT, Boston Matrix, Porters 5 Forces etc.
• Ability to work independently to produce compelling market analyses and audience research that aligns with client expectations
• An understanding of marketing ROI and ability to forecast planning scenarios using industry benchmarks

3. Campaign Performance Analysis:

• Monitoring campaign performance, making proactive suggestions to improve performance against client KPIs

4. Budget Management:

• Contribute to the profitability of primary accounts
• Produce tracking reports to monitor progress against financial goals / targets

5. Team Leadership:

• Responsible for the timely, accurate delivery of day to day requests from the team
• Contributing to the development of execs within the team
