The Agency
The Advertising Association is the trade body that represents the interests of advertisers, agencies and the media. Its purpose is to promote responsible advertising and its value to the wider society. The Advertising Association acts as a vital link between our industry, government and regulators. We actively engage with key policy stakeholders on issues ranging from digital regulation, the future of skills, AI, public health, the impact of the cost-of-living on business, sustainability, and responsible advertising.
Our Communications team delivers campaigns on behalf of the UK advertising industry across a wide range of industry issues, such as the economic performance of our industry, public trust and favourability towards advertising, as well as working to promote our workstreams, dealing with topics such as climate action and inclusion. We respond rapidly to policy announcements and are the point of contact for journalists. It’s our job to know how the industry and the AA are being talked about in the trade press and to ensure that our proactive agenda is being fully and accurately reported on. We also produce a range of creative content which tells the industry’s story, from podcasts to videos on our website.
