Copywriter

Job description

If you’re a long copywriter (the copy, not you) who’s all about the details, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for an experienced midweight writer who’s handy with words - and ideas too. You’ll join our lovely creative team, crafting email, social, web and print copy… or whatever else lands on your desk in the morning. You’ll occasionally team up with an art director, but mostly you’ll enjoy working under your own steam, across some of our biggest, fastest-moving clients.

You’re a dab hand at getting complex, serious ideas across, very simply. Saying twice as much in half the words? Bring it on.

Equally, you can write persuasive, moving, funny words (sometimes all at the same time).

You can swiftly pick up a tone of voice and knock out creative ideas, too.

You’re a super-focused job-juggler who loves the details, keeps on top of the minutiae of different clients and projects - and finds the interesting in everything.

If you already know how to navigate the no-no’s of a heavily regulated industry, great. If you get a little bit excited about doing it, even better. And if you’ve got financial services experience, bingo. (Don’t worry, though, it’s not a dealbreaker.)

You’re a midweight writer – that could be agency, client-side or freelance.

You may well have a degree in a literate subject (either way, there’s no faulting your grammar and punctuation).

And the most important thing? You really, really, really like fiddling about with words.
