Design Director

Job description

We’re on the hunt for a Design Director to join our family as the figurehead for what great looks like.

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our design standards and drive the design output of our agency forward - bringing brave, original design thinking to life for our clients, executing big ideas brilliantly, and leading and supporting our team to be the best executors they can be.

You'll personally deliver best in class design execution across the portfolio of borne’s clients – from driving distinctive art direction on high profile campaigns, pushing the design language and identities for our branding projects, and raising the standard of the day-to-day projects we deliver.

You'll also lead and inspire the internal design & artwork team at borne as a mentor, guide and champion for their work – helping to build confidence, expand skills, direct work and push the calibre of everything we make.

We're looking for somebody with a wealth of experience in brand and brand communication to bear, collaborating with our freelance network of creatives to ensure shared vision around the concepts and campaign ideas we deliver – and building strong working relationships between creative freelancers and our own design team.
