The Account Director will be working under the guidance of the Business Director to manage and grow existing client relationships, as well as delivering company growth through assisting with new business projects.
The candidate will need a strong business acumen and be numbers and data focussed, in order to deliver solutions to clients through digital media.
You will oversee a team of 6-7 people and ensure that they are knowledgeable and effective in their roles and give a good account of the agency. You will also have strong working knowledge of media implementation to guide them in best practice where needed. You will work very closely with the Account Managers to make sure that deadlines are managed, and media is delivered as planned.
You will work with media owners and tech providers to ensure we are utilising the best strategies and deployment of media budget that gives us the greatest return on investment for our clients. The candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about new and emerging technologies, so we are able to stay on the cutting edge of media planning and delivery.

• Liaise at an Account Director level with offline teams
Personal & Agency Development
• Read and understand ARM Weekly (internal team/agency updates) and Industry News
• Write ARM Weekly and contribute to general agency initiatives
• GMP, Microsoft, Facebook etc. exams passed
• Identify weaknesses and request training from line manager
• Support on agency ‘Digital Champions’ initiatives and team updates
• Be integral to new business pitching and agency development
You will need to have an advanced knowledge of the digital media buying platforms, and ideally be strong in the technical and data side of digital media
4+ years’ experience at a media agency
Evidence of advanced knowledge (in one) or ideally more digital media channels
Experienced leading campaigns and accounts is essential.
Showing initiative in driving accounts forward via innovation and forward-thinking
A proactive individual who is able to use their own initiative to spot and leverage opportunities
Project management of projects including delegation, expectation management and delivery
Experience in managing & developing people
