Digital and Social Strategist

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Digital and Social Strategist to work and think bigger picture… Underneath this role sits a tactical team able to execute influencer, paid, content activations and reporting. We are looking for someone with drive and ambition and a passion for data and storytelling to join our growing team.



Roles and responsibilities:

Reporting into our Director of Brand and Strategy for larger campaign work, and more regularly working alongside our Creative Strategist
Creating Digital Marketing strategies for our clients, planning, leading the execution of campaigns and always-on
Writing and often re-writing client briefs, working with the client to define KPIs, monitoring progress and performance
Introducing and building on strategic frameworks, managing contents and deck structure for pitches and presentations
Using your analytical skills you will conduct data measuring, competitor analysis, social listening, reporting and planning
Using creative skills to think of interesting and exciting amplification and activation methods, leading ideation sessions with our creative strategist
Knowing and following best practices understanding how to optimise across all platforms
Creating toolkits for Fairy Networks with subscriptions of software, tools and publications to keep the wider team informed
Being tapped into updates across platforms, formats, algorithm changes – constantly seeing new opportunities
Leading the wider team on executing your strategy, galvanising project teams. From time to time you will manage freelance and third parties
Contributing to ongoing training and development and providing constructive feedback to the team


Requirements:

4-5+ years of experience, agency experience is essential with implementing successful strategies across fashion, lifestyle and beauty
Specific focus on social media, understanding of paid, owned and earned media
An early adopter of trends, technology and platform updates – trying out new tools and platforms before success is proven
Well versed with youth audiences, specifically gen-z and youth millennials
Strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
A confident communicator with strong presentation and client management skills
Affinity with the clients that we work with and understanding of the wider market, which platforms they are playing on and the innovation tactics they’re using to capture their customers
