If so you, you could be the perfect candidate for our new Engagement Manager - Talent and Inclusion role.*
Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Engagement Manager - Talent and Inclusion will manage all aspects of the AA’s inclusion work for the sector, which currently involves the All In programme and Talent workstream. The role has a mix of building from an established base regarding Inclusion and contributing to the shape of newer workstreams and initiatives across the Talent remit.
The role would suit an experienced supporter /engagement / project manager with great stakeholder management skills and a real passion and knowledge for all things talent and inclusion.
Specific responsibilities will include:
-Working closely and with our members (advertising industries, trade bodies, brands and media owners) to support their inclusion work and engagement with our established inclusion programmes.
-Project managing our 9 inclusion working groups – each representing a different ‘action’ area for the advertising industry inclusion journey (eg black talent, disabled talent, women, social mobility etc).
-Providing engaging supporter comms regarding the inclusion and talent topics, including bespoke meetings, newsletters, webinars, web pages and large-scale events.
-Contributing to the shaping of our new Talent workstream – which reviews how we can attract and retain talent across the advertising industry.
-Manage the creation of our new online ‘Training Hub’ – a curation of training & resources from our members, to support those working in the industry.
-Supporting our internal work to make the AA itself a more inclusive place to work.
We are looking for someone that:
- Has proven experience supporting engagement programmes (implementation, reporting, project managing), ideally withing a membership body.
-Possesses excellent relationship building, stakeholder management, and communication skills - with the ability to confidently speak with and influence senior people on sensitive topics.
-Is an exceptional project manager – highly organised with the ability to quickly progress multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.
-Has a strong understanding of diversity and inclusion, with a passion for making the advertising industry a more inclusive and attractive place to work.
-Understands the UK advertising industry and the organisations working within it.
-Has experience creating and curating training / leaning resources.
The ideal candidate will also:
-Have direct experience working within the advertising industry – with an established network of connections.
-Have relevant training and/or qualifications within Equity, Diversity, or Inclusion.
