We have a fantastic opening in our ranks for a newly created role of a part-time Facilities Manager to join the RadioWorks Group based in our London office in Fitzrovia

THE ROLE
This role requires a combination of approachable, highly organised and proactive skills, you’ll need to have prior facilities assistant and office management or receptionist experience.

You will undertake all facility/building and office management along with all H&S compliance for the business, covering responsibilities such as: fire safety and evacuations, first aid training, weekly/monthly audits, contractor management, office maintenance/repairs, reception duties, office ordering and assisting with other adhoc tasks such as organisation/booking of staff events.

It requires fantastic communication and customer service skills, to enable regular and effective interaction across various stakeholder levels both internally and externally. Finally, you’ll be enthusiastic, valuing a safe and pleasant working space for staff and clients alike.

This is a part-time position of 3 days per week, Tues to Thurs – as they are our office-based days each week. The hours are 09h00-17h30 and the role is based on site.

THE CANDIDATE
Ideally you will be up to date with current H&S regulations, along with having at a very minimum of 1 year of experience in your arsenal in a role such as facilities assistant and/or office manager/receptionist or the like – being fairly hands on and not afraid to get stuck in.

You will enjoy keeping and creating a safe and clean office environment, be able to proactively work to foresee challenges prior to them arising. In addition to being someone who strives to keep abreast of current laws and regulations and has the necessary skills to implement change.

KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilities/building management, along with H&S compliance inc training for fire wardens and first aiders
• Management and liaison of all contractors and 3rd party suppliers from IT suppliers through to office cleaning
• All things office maintenance, repairs and ordering
• Receptionist duties inc answering the phones and answering the front door
• Assisting with organisation and booking of staff events
• Proactive with a growth mindset.

• Demonstrate an attitude which is supportive, collaborative as well as being creative.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties that may be deemed fit and necessary by the Business from time to time
