We’re on the lookout for a Junior Project Manager to join one of our delivery squads. Junior Project Managers support our Project Managers and Delivery Leads in managing website development projects from beginning to end. You will be working as a key part of the internal team and partnering with our clients to drive delivery on projects, as well as managing the financial and commercial elements of each client and each project.
You’ll be part of an energetic and collaborative team who are doing great things with ambitious clients across diverse sectors. including some well known brands; WaterAid, BAFTA, The Macallan and Famous Grouse, SC Johnson Professional, National Grid, National Youth Theatre, Stagecoach Bus and Wave Utilities, to name a few.
Role & Responsibilities:
Maintain your team’s schedule Ensure work is completed within agreed deadlines to a high level of satisfaction Run monthly reports for each client spend Keep abreast of project progress with other Project Managers and development team to foresee any major changes in resource requirements Review department chargeability reports and work closely with department heads to understand and resolve any issues Work closely with project teams to oversee their day to day operations – ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met Communicate project updates to clients regarding budgets, risks and timescales Forecast workloads and raise opportunities to take on new work Report on project profitability
Essential Skills
Experience in managing digital/web projects (or being exposed to these somehow) through either a placement year or work experience An understanding of various project management methods including Agile, Waterfall and KanBan Confident communicator Amazing organisational skills Extremely process driven Financial Management and reporting skills Proven team player
Desirable Skills
Experience working in JIRA, Confluence and GDrive Experience working on web support work Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
