We’re Spotify’s creative partner in the UK & North America and our company client roster also includes Guinness, EA Sports, Audible and Cartoon Network. We have ambitious plans for the future to lead the market and develop our UK, US and international business.

The Package

The Person We Are Looking For

With an ambitious plan in place, a rebrand and complete new look underway and exciting plans for the year ahead, we are now looking for a skilled, driven and tenacious Marketing and PR Manager to help develop and tell our story and support our commercial drive to grow our UK and International business.

You will have at least five years marketing/PR B2B experience in the media, marketing and advertising industries. Ideally, you will have worked in-house in a dynamic environment be that agency, media owner, platform, broadcaster or production company. In addition, you may work with a specialist Marketing/PR agency that represents the media, advertising and marketing industries.

You need to have excellent communication skills, be able to write well, have an attention to detail, work well with all types of people and be a great ambassador for the business. Ideally, you will already be familiar with the B2B media and have a contact book and the trade bodies that represent the industry. Alternatively, proven skills in a similar dynamic B2B environment.

You will have experience of working and building the profile of business brands on social media so Linkedin and Twitter will be key, as well as developing and managing engaging content for our social platforms to drive influencers and target audiences to follow.

It is important that you are a team player, confident and outgoing (both in person or over a video call) and have a positive mindset. You’ll have a track record of running successful marketing initiatives and creating ideas that are clever and engaging.

You won’t be afraid to put your ideas and opinions forward, but you’re also able to listen to others and give the final decision 100% commitment no matter where it came from.

You’ll be a strong believer in delivering exemplary customer service which is just as important as the work we produce. You don’t miss deadlines and are willing to go that extra mile to make sure of it. You don’t get flustered when it’s busy and you’re comfortable managing many different projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

To work with the internal leadership team and external Marketing Strategist to create, plan and implement a long-term marketing strategy and plan that supports our Commercial objectives, builds our business brand and drives our thought-leadership and ambition to lead the audio marketplace.

You will be working across the group as a collective voice on all things audio which includes:
Studios, Creative, Audiobooks, Music, Media and Digital.

Essential Requirements for the job

-Experience working in a similar role

-Proven B2B campaign delivery

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent attention to detail, proofing of materials and all communication

-A high level of experience in using social media as a B2B tool to engage and build business profile including Linkedin as a marketing and sales tool and improving SEO for our new website

-Overseeing our Group website and ensure it is always fresh with content and up to date working with our in-house creative team

-Experience of working closely with a commercial team to deliver and support all client and new leads’ Marketing and PR – including client and lead generation newsletters

-Experience of developing a content plan and making that happen working with the various divisions to bring to life our thought-leadership through blogs, opinion pieces, podcasts and more

-Good and proven media relations skills with trade and national media and ideally a contact book

-Confidence to build partnerships and initiatives with industry trade bodies

-Experience of overseeing Award entries and the submission process

-Organising and running events to enhance the business profile
