Planning Account Executive

Job description

The Account Executive supports the Account Manager in managing the relationship between the client and december19 day to day. They ensure the smooth running of campaigns – from communicating the correct information to all members of the team, to presenting and reporting to clients and the team.


Deliver with excellence the basics of account servicing, organising meetings, team admin & clear contact reports

Be responsible for maintaining and presenting status reports

Assist with all administrative elements of the account management team

Participate in briefing meetings with clients and partner agencies

Develop a strong understanding of all areas of the media planning process, and relevant channels

Assist in the implementation of media strategies, briefing the investment teams

Grow client relationships, becoming the primary point of contact for junior members


Understanding of the systems required to maintain successful campaigns i.e. Adserve / Choices / Add Dynamix

Awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms

Excellent oral and written communication skills

A pro-active approach to client briefs

A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budget restraints

First class organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook

A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport and trust
