Job description
You’ll join our growing TV Buying team, getting stuck in early on, coupled with a 6-week intensive course into the world of Media Planning & Buying. Throughout your training, you will obtain best in class industry professional qualifications with the likes of IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), Thinkbox TV Masters and Google fundamentals qualification.
The Bootcamp training offers a plethora of media channel training, run by our internal media experts, as well as external partners, covering all of the key media platforms and tools. You will have exposure to clients from an early stage, helping them run active campaigns across all media channels, in a number of different sectors.
What you’ll be doing:
As a TV Buying Bootcamper, you will join our growing AV team, learning their craft on a day-to-day basis. No prior experience or qualifications are required. We have the people and tools to train you from the ground up and you will build a full understanding of the mechanics involved in the trading of TV Airtime. Spending valuable time gaining exposure to our Client Planning Teams across the business, you will learn how to become a successful Media Buyer, in a fast paced and exciting, successful environment.
KEY TIMINGS:
Job application will close on Monday 11th March 2024.
Interviews will begin to take place from week commencing 6th March 2024 through to the week commencing 18th March 2024.
Screening Call: Initial 15 minute screening call with HR via phone.
1st Stage Interview (Morning of 6th March or 13th March 2024): You will be asked to join a Microsoft Teams call at 9am for a 20-minute introductory call along with other candidates where our Head of HR will run through Medialab's culture and an introduction to our Bootcamp scheme. You will also be asked to complete a maths test on this call.
Prior to this, the HR team will share an additional link for your 1st stage interview with 2 team members which you will then join separately at the relevant time of your interview (this will be 30 minutes).
2nd Stage Interview (20th March 2024): This will be an assessment morning or afternoon in-person at our London office. The day will start with an introduction to Medialab from one of our founders. You will then be asked to complete a group task and then break off into your individual interviews with 2 team members where you will present a separate task (which you will have been sent and asked to complete before attending the assessment day) and answer competency-based questions.
Please ensure that you are available on this day between 9am - 12:30pm OR 2pm - 5:30pm.
