Sales of the Coors brand increased 3X in 2003 and turned itself into a top ten premium lager in the UK having previously been seen as something of a fad. Coors were ambitious for the brand and wanted to build on this success using a 'drip' approach to media. Result was Grolsch became the number-one UK on-trade brewer and outperformed the premium lager market
