IPA Director of Membership and Professional Development Patrick Mills will be retiring due to ill health at the end of 2022.
Says IPA Director General Paul Bainsfair: "Of course, it goes without saying that we will all miss Patrick. Not only has he been a key leader here at the IPA for the past 14 years but he is also one of the most popular people at number 44.
"Under Patrick’s stewardship, the IPA’s Professional Development services have flourished and our Membership has never been healthier. But this is not the time for an encomium, we will be arranging a suitable event or two to celebrate Patrick’s contribution to the IPA in due course.
"There will be plenty of time for us to thank Patrick and say farewell properly, however, I did want to let you know of his news."
