Please note that the Ad Net Zero Essentials Certificate is being discontinued and replaced by the IPA Sustainability Essentials Certificate.

The IPA Sustainability Essentials Certificate is designed to introduce UK candidates to sustainability, from climate crisis to what it means to be a sustainable agency and best practice advertising practitioners.

The qualification compliments Agents of Change, the IPA sustainability report and accompanying toolkit identifying industry barriers and how to approach them.

The qualification offers

  • Key data and research on environmental, social and sustainability issues within advertising.
  • Insight into what makes a truly sustainable agency, from wider business practices to advertising-specific responsibilities.
  • Practical guidance on communicating sustainability effectively and avoiding greenwashing.
  • A variety of engaging content formats, including interactive activities.
  • Clear, actionable takeaways to apply in day-to-day work.
