Becky’s career has spanned multiple sectors including Financial Services, Media and Publishing and Retail. She joined HSBC from Boots where she was Head of Digital Experience. Her career has focussed on understanding customers and using technology to meet their needs. She is an award winning marketer, recognised in both the Marketing Week Top 100 most effective marketers in 2022 and in Campaigns “Power 100” marketers. She is a leader in digital transformation, digitally lead marketing and proposition development and, with a background in economics, has consistently focussed on both marketing and investment effectiveness.
Since joining HBSC Becky has held a number of positions including Head of Retail Propositions and Current Accounts for the UK Bank and Group Head of Customer Marketing for Wealth and Personal Banking. She is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for HSBC UK accountable for both Retail and Corporate marketing.
Becky is a non-exec director for a travel startup, a member of the IPA Effectiveness council, a Judge for multiple marketing awards and will become a member of the Effie (Marketing Effectiveness) council from January. She also supports “mentoring Gen Z” and mentors a number of people internally and externally.
At weekends she can be found spending time with friends and family, horse riding or practising Karate!
