Trevor Robinson OBE is one of the UK’s most influential creative forces, responsible for some of the most memorable and talked-about advertising of the past three decades, from the iconic and multi-award-winning ‘You’ve Been Tango-ed’ Orange Slap to the long-running and much-loved Haribo ‘Kids Voices’ campaign.
In 1995, Trevor founded Quiet Storm, the UK’s first creative agency to write, direct, and produce its own work in-house. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Quiet Storm remains a rare breed as a fully independent agency where creatives continue to direct their own campaigns, championing bold ideas with purpose and craft.
Trevor’s creative leadership is globally recognised. He is a regular main stage speaker at Cannes Lions, where he served as President of the Titanium Jury in 2021, and was President of the D&AD Entertainment Jury in 2022.
In 2020, he reignited Create Not Hate, the social enterprise he first launched in 2007 to give underrepresented young people access to the creative industries. The initiative has since mobilised widespread industry support and created real career pathways for emerging talent.
Trevor was awarded an OBE in 2009 for services to charity and advertising, and in 2020 won the UK Black British Business Award for Senior Leader in the Entrepreneur category. In 2024, he was made an Honorary Fellow of the University of the Arts London, recognising his contribution to creativity and inclusion in the industry.
He has also featured in Debrett’s 500, Campaign’s A-List, The Drum’s Top 100 Adverati, and the IPA’s iList. He received the Oystercatchers Outstanding Lifetime Contribution to the Industry Award, was named a top 3 Campaign Changemaker, and became a Lifetime Fellow of the IPA in 2023.
