Advanced Inclusive Leadership and Active Allyship

Create sustainable cultural change in which leaders and diverse teams can work more effectively together

This virtual session will help leaders find their own “why” for inclusive leadership and learn how to create sustainable cultural change in which leaders and diverse teams can work more effectively together.

Content

This virtual workshop is for those who want to develop their inclusive leadership skills and learn how their active allyship can contribute to higher retention in their teams.

Understand their range of strengths, values, biases, and triggers so they can manage themselves with authenticity and respond flexibly to different situations. Learn skills, including how to step into their allyship, to encourage people to bring their full selves into the workplace so that teams can benefit from greater diversity. Hold a systemic understanding that goes beyond the ‘me’ and the ‘you’. To create change in our systems we need to actively advocate for other groups.

This course will cover:

  • Recognising that our strengths, values and beliefs enable authenticity and self-awareness.
Acknowledging and understanding our shadow side, and when we are stepping out of our authenticity and integrity.
  • Inclusivity is about valuing people and supporting them to show up as themselves.
  • Skills building (coaching, empathy, compassion) that enable others to bring their full selves into the workplace
  • Inclusive leaders can leverage the collective intelligence of teams/systems in which they operate, to create stronger teams.
  • what does it mean to be an active ally and why leading by example in this way can improve communication in your team and ultimately increase retention.
