This workshop introduces coaching and the use of coaching techniques to enable managers to better empower and inspire their teams to engage in their roles, take greater responsibility, and deliver against personal, departmental and agency wide objectives.

Research repeatedly highlights the benefits of coaching in business, in particular, boosting productivity and performance, and adopting new technologies and ways of working. This workshop introduces coaching and the use of coaching techniques to enable managers to better empower and inspire their teams to engage in their roles, take greater responsibility, and deliver against personal, departmental and agency wide objectives.

This course will run via a highly interactive three-hour Zoom session on the following date:

  • Tuesday 10 November - 10am-1pm

Who is this course for?

Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, Account Directors and anyone in equivalent roles with responsibility for managing one or more colleagues, a team or a department, supporting their day to day growth and development and carrying out their performance appraisals.

What we'll cover

By the end of this workshop, delegates will be better able to:

  • Apply a coaching led approach to the management and leadership of their team
  • Understand mindset and how that influences all our behaviours
  • Use the ‘GROW Model’ to ask better questions then actively listen to the answers
  • Reframe their language to encourage, support and help people to “open up”
  • Engage their team members in coaching-led conversations that help them genuinely own the tasks, objectives and challenges they are working to achieve and…
  • Better empower their team to the be the best they can be
  • Each delegate will also spend time coaching and being coached during the sessions, to put what they have learned into practice.

Alan Mead is now a Coach and Trainer having spent over 30 years in advertising, working as a Group Board Account Director, Production then Procurement Director and finally Head of Learning along the way. His submissions have secured his last Agency, Bray Leino, 3 IPA CPD Gold and 2 IPA CPD Platinum Awards.
