CPD Gold and Platinum Accreditation

An IPA endorsement that your agency is dedicated to CPD excellence

IPA CPD Gold and Platinum accreditation recognises agencies that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to learning, development and business performance.

IPA CPD Gold and Platinum Accreditation

IPA CPD Gold accreditation is the highest recognition of excellence for IPA member agencies that place learning and development at the heart of their business. As a respected industry benchmark, it signals to clients, employees, and prospective talent that the agency is committed to continuous professional development (CPD) and views learning as a key driver of business success.

IPA CPD Gold recognises agencies that have embedded a genuine learning culture, where development is aligned to business objectives, builds capability across the organisation and contributes to stronger commercial and client outcomes.

Agencies that achieve CPD Gold accreditation in four out of five years become eligible for IPA CPD Platinum, a distinction reserved for agencies that demonstrate a sustained, long-term commitment to learning excellence and its contribution to business performance.

Who assesses the submissions?

Submissions are assessed by an independent panel of professionals, with learning and development expertise within the advertising and communications sector. The panel is chaired by a senior client, most recently by Murray Bisschop, UK Marketing Director, Tesco. Murray shared his key lessons from the judging experience, specifically the value of CPD, and how the agencies making the strongest commitment to learning are the ones building stronger businesses as a result.

IPA CPD Gold & Platinum success for 2025

IPA CPD Gold agencies prove beyond doubt that investment in learning and development is a business imperative that pays back many times over, with some outstanding examples of CPD culture, innovation and effectiveness. On average, the CPD Gold agencies for 2025 earned an impressive £7.64 return on every £1 invested in learning and development in 2025, retained 92% of clients, and saved £201,100 on staffing costs with an average voluntary staff turnover of just 13.5%. This compares to an industry-wide figure of 17.1% reported in the 2025 IPA Agency Census.

Congratulations to all agencies that earned IPA CPD Gold and Platinum for 2025
