Founded by five people in May 2021 who believed that a better type of media agency wasn’t just possible, but needed, from a standing start we are now 25 strong (and hiring!) and handling billings predicted to be well in excess of £100 million in 2022. We are searching for an MX (Account) Director to join an integrated, fast-paced, high-growth team of media experts.


Responsible For:

Leading a group of client accounts, building relationships where we work in true partnership, and demonstrating how our work delivers value and growth for their business.

Developing in-depth knowledge about your client’s business and market.
Directing the strategic planning and buying of media, presenting and selling plans effectively to clients.

Building and maintaining positive, cooperative working relationships with other roster agencies, especially in relation to planning campaigns and media strategies.

Creating and coordinating comprehensive measurement frameworks and methodologies to measure success of our work for a client’s business
Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities with existing and future agency clients.

Manage and monitor and profitability of client accounts, regularly review our performance.

Reporting key financial and team data to the agency’s senior leadership for resource and capacity planning.

Work with trading teams to ensure we are buying efficiently across the agency and driving value on behalf of clients.

Maintaining strong relationships with media owners and ensuring up-to-date knowledge of new developments and media opportunities.
Maintaining a detailed awareness of relevant media research and market trends affecting their accounts, and developments in the wider advertising and communications industry. Managing the work, performance and professional development of team members.

This role brings the full suite of Bicycle’s services together to drive business growth for the advertiser. In addition, the role brings exceptional development opportunities for an ambitious, curious, well-rounded Account/Planning Director or Senior AM.

The Package

Salary bracket £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
