Account Manager

Job description

1) Campaign Management

- liaises with client to discuss product/service to be marketed and develops the most appropriate strategy to deliver the objectives;

- defines target group and implements strategy through appropriate media and communications planning work;

- conceives advertising campaign to impart the desired product image in an effective and economical way;

- reviews and revises campaign strategy in light of objective KPIs and takes appropriate corrective measures if necessary;

- stays abreast of changes in media, readership or viewing figures and advertising rates;

- outlines and implements event execution plan for client’s conferences, exhibitions, seminars, including high-level strategic planning as well as detailed logistics arrangements and execution

2) New Business Development:

- Builds a pipeline of opportunities identifying the key client leads to reach

- Engages with key client contacts through the personal network, event, trade body, utilising inbound leads, and proactive out-bound engagement

- Manages and deliver a bespoke proposal for potential clients

- Keeps business up to date with key market and competitive development

- Develops and improve new business marketing materials and toolkits

- Supports the wider team for marketing campaign implementation

3) Content Production Management

- is able to work closely with designers for digital graphic and animation for promotional materials

- Works closely with production team for filming and editing promotional videos for campaigns and events

- Localises and writes marketing content in local languages i.e. Simplified Chinese


- Proven experience in marketing and PR, ideally with over 5 years experience in account management

- Excellent communications skills.

- Strong understanding of the Chinese culture and media landscape

- Fluent in both English and Chinese (written & spoken) is a must

- Strong ability to create a professional press release and social media content in both traditional and simplified Chinese.

- Experienced in using Google Adword, Tencent Display, Alimama for biddable display activity in multi-markets.

- Experienced in proactive outbound business development.

- Eager to learn and demonstrate a high level of curiosity

- Display “can do” attitude, proactive in seeking solutions
