As a body incorporated by Royal Charter, our role is more than being a professional body and the voice of the agency business. We have pledged to advance the value, theory and practice of advertising, media and marketing communications; to promote best-practice standards in these fields; and to ensure that the work we do will benefit the public, the wider business community and the national economy.

The 2025 IPA Annual Review takes a comprehensive look at how the IPA championed creativity, strengthened commercial confidence, advanced evidence‑based practice and supported agencies through a year of economic, regulatory and technological change. It highlights key achievements across value, theory and practice, showcases industry‑leading initiatives and sets out our priorities for 2026.
