IPA and ISBA add productions sustainability clause to Creative Service Framework Agreement

Legal & Public Affairs

As the advertising industry works to reduce its carbon footprint, the IPA and ISBA have added a new clause into their industry standard Creative Services Framework Agreement which reminds advertisers and agencies that they have a responsibility to work together to try to reduce carbon emissions from advertising productions.

The clause refers the parties to a Scope of Work (attached at the back of the CSFA) which also includes new text and a margin comment that links to guidance to help them achieve their carbon reduction goals.

The documents are available for IPA members to download.
