Director of Brand Strategy, Verizon

Magnus is director of brand strategy at the US’ largest Telco, Verizon.  He began his career at AMV.BBDO in London before moving to America in 2004, with stints at Fallon Minneapolis, Anomaly, Ogilvy and as CSO of Joan.  At AMV he was responsible for the Nicorette strategy – if not the paper - that won an IPA Effectiveness Silver (and Best Idea) in 2006; at Ogilvy he won silver for 2012’s IBM Watson case, one of few US entries ever to win.

He is excited to bring a blended client and agency perspective to judging this year’s awards.
