Knowing what to post is one thing. Knowing whether it's working, and being able to explain why, is something else entirely. This in-person course gives you a grounded, practical understanding of social media measurement. From setting the right KPIs to writing insights that actually inform what happens next. This is about articulating data clearly and using it with confidence when speaking to stakeholders.
Designed for those at the start of their journey with social media measurement, this course builds a solid strategic and practical foundation for Social Media Executives/Managers, Junior Digital Marketing Executives/Managers, Mid to Senior Account Managers and Junior Analysts.
From understanding how social sits within wider business performance, to writing insights that lead to real action, the course runs through the full cycle of measurement. It's hands-on throughout, with workshops woven into each section so you can apply what you're learning as you go.
You'll cover how to set meaningful KPIs, what metrics actually tell you (and what they don't), how platforms report differently and how to think about attribution beyond last click. The final session brings it all together in a live exercise.
At the end of the course you'll:
Wednesday 11 November, 10am - 5pm at The IPA, 44 Belgrave Square, SW1X 8QS.
