Right to Read: Every child should have the right to read

To reduce illiteracy amongst children there was a need to recruit volunteers to provide one-to-one reading support in Yorkshire and Humberside. The children involved were aged 7-11. An above the line campaign was launched with production and media costs donated free. After its initial success a new volunteer campaign aimed to raise awareness. The outcome was an immediate increase to the Business in the Community free number and a high conversion rate
