The IPA TouchPoints Champions group met to run through the latest TouchPoints news, discuss developments to the DayLite dashboard and plans for the IPA Planning Summit in September, and see a presentation from Global Media on Understanding the Digital Audio Landscape.
For the first meeting of 2022, we welcomed new Champions from Carat, Channel 4, December19, Guerillascope, Initiative, Sky, Spark Foundry, and the7stars.
For 2022, we have 3 more Champions meetings scheduled for Thursday 7 July, Thursday 29 September and our end-of-year round-up on Thursday 8 December. We’ll also be launching TouchPoints 2022 on Tuesday 28 July, and don’t miss the IPA Planning Summit on Wednesday 14 September.
On Tuesday 8 of February, we launched the fourth edition of our landmark IPA publication, Making Sense: The Commercial Media Landscape. The report is available now along with the launch webinar. If you would like to receive the full Excel database of data contained within Making Sense, please contact simon@ipa.co.uk
We are currently exploring ways in which we can incorporate commercial media definitions aligned with the Making Sense report into the DayLite dashboard, at the meeting we talked through some potential ideas, but we would really welcome your feedback. If you have any thoughts, please contact rebecca@ipa.co.uk
At the meeting, Graeme Griffiths talked through the proposed fieldwork and release schedules for TouchPoints 2022 and TouchPoints 2023. Please see the presentation recording for more information, or contact graeme@ipa.co.uk if you have any thoughts.
On Wednesday 14 September, we will be hosting the first-ever Planning Summit at the IPA. The event will feature a range of industry luminaries from the field of planning, along with case studies and an expert panel. Invites will be going out in June for the event, however, if you would like to be involved either as a speaker, featured case study or as a panellist, please contact simon@ipa.co.uk or rebecca@ipa.co.uk
Following the Planning Summit, we will also be releasing a publication in December entitled Lessons from the Planning Summit highlighting all of the key learnings and take aways from the event.
We are also running a competition where we are asking champions to come up with an idea for a print advertising campaign for TouchPoints. More info will follow, however, we can confirm that the winning entry will win a £100 voucher of their choice.
The new TouchPoints tea towel for 2021 is available for free now, you just need to sign up and it will be delivered to your door along with a seed card to grow some wildflowers.
We would like to feature some of the fantastic work you are doing within your organisation. If you would like the opportunity to present to the Champions group then please get in touch.
