IPA announces 2024 Council election results

Twelve individuals were either newly elected or re-elected to the IPA Council

The IPA has announced the results of its annual election process following its Annual General Meeting held on Thursday 21 March 2024.

Twelve individuals were either newly elected or re-elected to the IPA Council, eight to represent the corporate members of the IPA and four to represent personal members.

Of those 12 members, eight were re-elected for a further three years and four are new to Council.

The re-elected members are:

  • Jane Asscher, 23red
  • Dan Cullen-Shute, Creature London
  • Jamie Elliott, The Gate London
  • Rhian Feather, OMD UK
  • Tom Knox, MullenLowe London
  • Lisa Morgan, Generation Media
  • Luke Southern, Drum OMG
  • Larissa Vince, TBWA\London

The newly elected members are:

  • Miriam Boote, Designate
  • Jason Cobbold, BMB Agency
  • Paul Cooper, EssenceMediacom North
  • Polly McMorrow, McCann London

Commenting, IPA Director of Membership and Secretary to Council, Tom Mott, said:

"Many congratulations to Jason, Miriam, Paul and Polly on their election to the IPA Council. As the governing body of the IPA, it is important that Council hears fresh perspectives and insights from across our membership."

The IPA Annual Review 2023 'Providing context and certainty' was also approved at the AGM. 

Council is the governing body of the IPA, responsible for its overall management and strategic direction. Council comprises 42 elected members, each of whom is elected for a three-year term, and six ex officio members, namely the two most recent IPA Past Presidents, plus the IPA Chairs of the 44 Club, England & Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
