The IPA has appointed NatWest Group CMO and ISBA President Margaret Jobling as Chair of Judges for the 2023 IPA Effectiveness Accreditation scheme. The scheme provides a stamp of approval to agencies and a signal to current and prospective clients that agencies are taking valuable steps to foster an effectiveness culture, making their organisations stronger, fitter and able to deliver their targets.
In her role, Jobling will preside over a panel of leading brand owners, academics, authors and renowned effectiveness specialists examining the culture of IPA member agencies across four criteria Focus, People, Process, and Data, Tools & Measurement.
The IPA Effectiveness Accreditation programme was launched by IPA President Julian Douglas in 2021 to create an industry in which effectiveness is not only a goal, but an expectation between brand marketers and agencies by celebrating the agencies that make it a core part of their business culture.
Says Margaret Jobling, Group Chief Marketing Officer, NatWest Group, ISBA President and Chair of Judges for the 2023 IPA Effectiveness Accreditation: "Agencies who achieve IPA Effectiveness Accreditation demonstrate themselves as true business growth partners to clients and show that they are committed to delivering the highest possible standards of service. I’d encourage every agency to look at their effectiveness culture from top-to-bottom and apply for IPA Effectiveness Accreditation in 2023."
Commenting on the appointment, Alexandra Green, Head of Effectiveness Programme, IPA said: "I’m delighted that Margaret has joined us as Chair of Judges for the 2023 IPA Effectiveness Accreditation. She has a wealth of experience from some of the biggest brands in the world and will bring unparalleled insight and expertise."
Following the launch of the IPA Effectiveness Accreditation programme in 2021, we are looking forward to recognising more and more agencies for their commitment to a culture of marketing effectiveness.
Applications for the 2023 Effectiveness Accreditation will open in March 2023. For more information and judging criteria, contact Alexandra Green.
In 2021, 19 agencies achieved IPA Effectiveness Accreditation and received an IPA endorsement that they are dedicated to business effectiveness along with an effectiveness kite mark and certificate. Once achieved, the Accreditation lasts for two years before an agency must reapply.
