Appearing in local and national press, posters and some radio and TV the 'Skip Lunch and Save a Life' campaign received much media attention. There was a return of £10 for every £1 spent on a campaign costing £140,000. In the long term evidence of improved income and greater than average returns on subsequent campaigns. From a modest budget there came an enormous effect.
