This chart pack is based on a nationally representative poll commissioned by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), among a sample of 2,000 UK adults aged 18+. The research was undertaken by Opinium and fielded 4-7 October 2022.

The purpose of this poll was to survey consumer attitudes towards brands’ reaction to the cost of living crisis by exploring what actions consumers want and expect to see from brands during this time.
