A small budget campaign using posters and local press to increase awareness of diabetes. Using an optimistic and reassuring tone the advertising made the public aware of the symptoms of diabetes and that it can be controlled. Beginning with a 2-town test which could be replicated nationally. Results: effectively reduced ignorance of symptoms.
