Reliant Metrocabs: Grabbing the Cab Driver

Relaunch campaign for Metrocab, a new glass fibre style of black cab. Strategy involved a promotion (amongst taxi drivers) to give away a Metrocab in a lottery. Media: small ads in trade press and Evening Standard. Results: a fifth of London cab drivers entered the competition and 68 cabs were sold at the Battersea Cab Fair which the advertising had encouraged the audience to attend
